Exclusive Services
Frisky Foal Acres offers English and Western riding lessons, following the curriculum of the Certified Horseman's Association (CHA). Riding lessons are available in groups or as private instruction. Private lessons are 45 minutes while group lessons are one hour. Riders of all ages are welcome! Children under five will be a lead-around and will engage in a riding session to engage their core and learn how to balance properly in the saddle.
English Riding Lessons
Beginner English lessons are available to teach the basics of horsemanship and riding. Lessons will focus on safety, both on the horse and off, establishing a secure seat, light hands, and the principles of English riding and jumping. The curriculum follows the Certified Horseman's Association Composite Horsemanship Manual and the Equine Professional Manual: The Art of Teaching Riding.
Western Riding Lessons
Beginner to Advanced Western lessons are available to teach the basics of horsemanship and riding. Group Riding Lessons vs. Private Lessons
Understand which type of riding lesson would be best for your child and the difference in cost for private riding instruction versus group riding lessons.
Private lessons focus solely on the horse and rider to ensure specific issues can be worked on. $80 for 45 min
Group lessons are a team environment where each rider learns from each other and takes turn completing exercises. $60 for one hour

Competition Team
The Competition Team is a Western group riding lesson focusing on goal-oriented learning and fine-tuning speed and patterns. This team is invitation only.
