Meet The Horses
Sly
Sly is an Appendix Quarter Horse (foaled 4/14/2007), sired by the famous Corona Cartel and has a pedigree containing the famous Disco Jerry. Sly was rescued from the U.S. Border Patrol, in conjunction with the local Police Department, when he was seized during a narcotics traffic stop. Prior to coming to Frisky Foal Acres, Sly was a winning race horse, racing throughout the southwest and Mexico. Today Sly is a competition team horse for advanced riders.
Binkie
Binkie is a little Paint mare, foaled 01/01/2019. She came to us as a rescue when she was an unbroke two year old. Binkie loves whinnying for treats and curling her lip up to smile at everyone. She definitely has the most colorful personality of all the horses on the farm. Binkie is Raemie's personal horse, but is occasionally used for lead-arounds or for working with intermediate-advanced riders.
Sunny
Sunny is a 2004 Tennessee Walking Horse mare, donated to us from a reining horse trainer. Sunny is one of our best lesson horses who challenges beginner and advanced students, based on what her rider can handle. Sunny likes to go and keep her riders on their toes. She is an all-around mare and an asset to our lesson program.
Splash
Splash and his mom (Socks) were donated to us back in November of 2021. Splash is a 2013 Paint gelding, showing promise as a dependable lesson horse. Although young and still learning, Splash takes care of his rider and gives them just enough of a challenge to keep them learning. His owner is working on Splash becoming a mounted shooting horse!
George and Socks
Splash's mom, Socks, is a mighty little mare. Born in 1999, Socks is for intermediate to advanced riders. She loves kids and is often used for lead-arounds and birthday parties. Her small size is comforting to those who are timid of big horses. She is known for her bright copper coat, white blaze, and four white socks.

George is a Palomino American Quarter Horse, foaled in 2000. He is a former AQHA World Champion and was a stallion for 11 years. Since his retirement, he is the starter horse for all beginners. He loves treats, trail rides, and kids.
Prim
Prim is the grandma of the herd, being the oldest at 27 (foaled in 1996). She is part Standardbred, so she is known for her fast trot and long stride-- if you're a confident enough rider to get her moving! She is stubborn and is very good at teaching the basics to young riders. Prim loves hugs and kids! She was donated to us last August and is a true asset to the herd.
Belle
Belle is our resident "Moo." She came to us as a baby back in 2020 when her mom died. She was bottle-fed and pampered...she has grown up to love attention and pets! She is half Dexter and Holstein.
Daxter
Daxter is our old rescue dog. He's a mutt, but has some Jack Russel Terrier and German Shorthair Pointer, along with some Cattledog. Daxter loves to help herd the horses. Daxter prefers to be left alone to oversee his herd of horses.
Georgia
Georgia is our little Australian Shephard. Born June 2022, this little girl is the most friendly and cuddly pup to everyone. Please don't hesitate to snuggle her, just don't let her jump up on you! There are a total of six dogs running around the farm, but Daxter and Georgia are the two most likely to be seen. All the dogs are friendly.
